Alexandre Fafard

Director of Business Development

Partner

Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, Alexandre has been involved in construction from a young age within the family business. He pursued his studies in business administration and graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Université du Québec en Outaouais. In addition to his academic background, Alexandre holds certification as a carpenter-joiner and steel assembler, giving him practical, hands-on experience in construction.

Now a partner alongside his brother Miguel, Alexandre continues the family legacy of Bâtiments Kolabor (formerly Bâtiments Kalad’art), founded in 1987 by their parents, Claude Fafard and Diane Beauregard. As Director of Business Development, he is the first point of contact for clients, guiding them through every stage of their commercial, industrial, or institutional project, from initial planning to the realization of their vision. Alexandre believes that a clear understanding of client needs and expectations is the key to project success.

Outside of work, Alexandre is married and a father of five. He and his brother share a unique partnership both in life and in the management of the company, investing equally in the business and in their families. Always seeking new projects and challenges, Alexandre maintains active communication with his professional network and is constantly on the lookout for new opportunities to grow the company and deliver exceptional projects.

Miguel Fafard

Director of Operations, Eng.

Partner

Miguel is a mechanical engineer and a licensed member of the Ordre des ingénieurs. He has been involved in the family construction business since his youth and also holds certifications as a carpenter-joiner and steel assembler. He began his engineering career in the industrial sector before joining the family business in 2004, which his parents founded in 1987. Since 2009, Miguel has led Bâtiments Kolabor alongside his brother Alexandre.

As Director of Operations, Miguel ensures the smooth execution of projects, overseeing construction sites, coordinating with various stakeholders, and managing timelines and budgets. He works closely with clients, guiding business owners to design and construct buildings that meet their operational needs and growth ambitions. Known for his adaptability and problem-solving skills, Miguel is highly regarded by clients for his ability to handle complex projects efficiently. He is married and a father of three, bringing the same dedication and family values to both his professional and personal life.
